In order to access Outlook data from within Softalk Organizer, you must also use either the Softalk Share Server or the WorkgroupShare product.
If you install Softalk Organizer alongside WorkgroupShare, then
when a user logs into Softalk Organizer, all their essential Outlook information is available for them to view and manage, once they have synchronized their data in Outlook.
If you install Softalk Organizer alongside Softalk Share Server, Softalk Organizer will give you access to your live Outlook calendar, contacts and email information.
If a user has sufficient access rights, he may access other users' calendars, contact lists and email from within Softalk Organizer.
Using Outlook in conjunction with WorkgroupShare or Softalk Share Server means that all users in an Organization may both access their own data from a remote
location, but also view and/or manage other user's information too.
