Hey Guys!
Its been a while.
We currently receive all our mail through Microsoft exchange and then it goes through a gate way machine. (a machine running Office Talk, as a user, which decodes and distributes the mail to all other machines).
When certain mails fail (wrong address, caught by spam filter etc however) to be sent or received, a pop up box appears with the information (also has a 60 second ok) upon start up of the OT client on the gateway machine. The messages displayed are completely random. The messages are not deleted when you press ok, instead they repeat themselves on each start up. The messages have now accumulated and at present there are around 30. This does not sound like much of a problem, however, the gateway machine attempts to decode these messages EVERY time it starts up. This makes the start up sequence around 15 minutes and when you consider OT on the machine (not the machine itself) crashes every hour or so, the problem should be clear!
Does anybody out there know how to clear these messages for good and/or why the gate way machine OT would crash? Any help would be appreciated!
Regards
Rob

Hi Robert,
If they are on the POP3 server you can delete them there.
If they have been downloaded into OfficeTalk then you want to use the IMS Admin utility (available from Support) to remove them. You can also go directly into the database and do it there.
HOWTO: How do I Administer an OfficeTalk ASA database using the Interactive SQL utility?

Hey Chris,
I have given this a try, but it does not seem to have worked.
Any other ideas?
Kind Regards
Robert
